The Balancer Report
For the week ending February 19th, 2022
Overview
Last week was volatile and markets are down on the weekly basis. Mainnet V2 TVL is currently at $1.43B with overall TVL at $2.03B. Polygon TVL is at $234M from last week’s $230M. TVL on Arbitrum decreased to $78M from last week’s $80M.
Daily LP revenues for Mainnet V2 averaged around $29k last week and Polygon daily LP revenue averaged around $17k.
Liquidity Mining
LM incentives on Mainnet will change for the BANK/WETH pool. This pool will not be receiving incentives anymore. On Arbitrum LM incentives will be increased for the RDPX/DPX/WETH pool. This pool will now receive 480 BAL per week. The GMX/WETH pool will now receive 300 BAL per week. No changes on Polygon.
Governance
A major governance proposal has passed last week to introduce veBAL tokenomics. This is a great step forward for the Balancer ecosystem. Additionally, the proposal to increase the protocol fee has passed. These two proposals pair up nicely for great locking incentives.
Proposal to authorize the treasury subDAO to allocate BAL to Turbo.
Proposal to revamp the governance process.
