Liquidity Mining
Last week Balancer transitioned to a veBAL system. This also changes how Liquidity Mining incentives will be distributed. It is now mostly up to veBAL holders to decide where LM incentives will be distributed to. See a current overview of anticipated rewards distribution on the Balancer frontend. subDAO spotlight - grants subDAO: Shared by Burns, Zen Dragon and Andrea:
With Wave 3 ending Zeb will be stepping away from his grants lead position. Andrea, Burns, and Zen Dragon will be splitting the workload going forward in efforts to further decentralize the grants process. The grants subDAO is a great opportunity to foster projects and build mutually beneficial relationships & products. The three will act as a compass for facilitating continued high quality growth and exposure to projects which can leverage our technology to create new use cases. Furthermore the group plans to focus on measuring effectiveness of grants going forward to ensure funds are allocated in the best way possible and built on the recent success of the grants subDAO. This includes building on the operational structures of the grants subDAO to streamline the process start to finish for grantees interactions and execution. Balancer Grants maintains one main focus, to make grants a frictionless and productive tool to benefit Balancer Protocol, they are all looking forward to the opportunities ahead.
