Governance & DAO
subDAO spotlight - marketing subDAO:
In the coming month the Marketing subDAO will continue to look at different ways to improve the visibility of Balancer DAO. Our Balancer Bounties programme continues to grow and this month it will be dedicated to the creation of educational contents around veBAL for its upcoming launch. Another goal of the subDAO is to increase our reach in other languages: we are currently targeting Spanish and Chinese markets through translated tweets and videos. We will also be rebranding our LBP project AMAs to allow better clarity into projects presenting to our community. We continue to constantly review new sponsorship opportunities and are excited to announce our sponsorship of an event at Devconnect in Amsterdam this year, to foster closer DAO-DAO partnerships. We invite everyone who would like to submit a marketing proposal or collaborate with us to fill this form.
Governance:
Two governance votes came to a close on March 11th. These votes were held under the recently changed governance process with the following outcome:
[not passed - did not meet Quorum][82k BAL for vs. 290 BAL against] Vote to Refund wstETH Liquidity Providers.
[passed][80k BAL for vs. 34k BAL against] Vote to Commission Quarterly Financial Reports through the Messari Hub.
