The Balancer Report
Balancer: TVL and Stats - Defilytica
Balancer's TVL is $1.09bn. Distributed in the following manner:
The Total Mainnet TVL is $869mm, and there is a decrease of about 11.97% compared to the $973.05mm of the previous week.
The Polygon TVL is at $121mm, almost unchanged to the $119.66mm of the previous week.
Arbitrum TVL is at $80.60mm, registering an increase of 8.61% compared to the $74.21mm last week.
The Gnosis TVL is at $17.90mm without registering significant changes to the $17.86mm of the previous week.
And finally, Balancer on Optimism by Beethoven X sits at $41.91mm TVL.
As for our liquid wrappers, they are under the following parity to veBAL:
Cross-chain gauges are coming to Balancer thanks to Layer Zero’s tech!
First of all, this will enable BAL boosts on Layer 2s as long as you have veBAL, L0 will do all the heavy lifting.
This is also exciting for liquidity layers like Aura as it means that they will be able to go cross-chain too.
This will be done gradually and the process will involve 4 distinct steps:
1. Gauge deployment
2. New L2 pool votes
3. Gauge migration
4. Enabling cross-chain boosts
This should take about a month so you’ve got time to get ready for this new and exciting chapter in Balancer’s gauge story!Concentrated Liquidity is now live on Balancer courtesy of Gyroscope and Lido!
Gyro’s E-CLPs (short for Elliptic Concentrated Liquidity Pools) offer an innovative approach to liquidity. They utilize elliptic curves to optimize trading and specifically target LSTs.
The approach drastically improves capital efficiency to the point of E-CLPs being 7 times more effective compared to regular StableSwap pools!
The first E-CLP is already available through Gyro’s UI here. It was deployed on Polygon and it pairs $stMATIC and $wMATIC.
Balancer’s liquidity flywheel once again proves to be both efficient and innovative.Frax Finance launches two new boosted pools on Polygon!
Both harness the power of Aave V3 and feature $FRAX and $frxETH respectively.
In case you’re new to Frax, they’re building cross-chain infrastructure for decentralized stablecoins.
The two new deployments highlight the diversity within the Balancer’s ecosystem and the importance of boosted pools.
The amount of staked ETH reached another all-time high and Balancer’s latest liquid staking update takes a deep dive into how this is reflected by the ecosystem!
Balancer continues to be the largest, second largest and fifth largest holder of LSTs for Rocket Pool, Frax and Lido respectively.
In addition to that, Balancer hosts considerable amounts of LSTs on L2s such as 50.3% of rETH on Optimism.
BeethovenX is boosting their 70/30 FTM / USDC pool!
This means optimized boosted yield and additional $BEETS incentives.
Beethoven chose the 70/30 composition as it minimizes impermanent loss and also offers asymmetric exposure that harnesses price volatility in a beneficial way.Aura Finance contributors revisit their thread on LSTs from mid-March and highlight the latest LST wins!
In the two months since the initial thread was released the share of staked ETH increased by almost 17% and reached a new ATH. There are also currently over 52.000 queued validators waiting to join the party so the share is likely to grow even further.
LST protocols such as Lido and Rocket Pool continued to grow as well, with Rocket Pool’s TVL increasing by over 30%.Here are the current bribes on HiddenHand. The round ends on May 24, 2023.
This section will list the top three expected pools to receive most of the next period’s emissions. Voting is open for four more days, and the next period is scheduled to start on Thursday at 00:00 am UTC.

This week Dubstard brings another set of warnings:
Do not open any links sent to you in DMs from any one pretending to be a "mod", "admin" "staff member" and etc.
Do not message anybody offering help if you DMs them first, those are scammers.
If you see on Discord a "mee6" link asking you to drag anything, be sure that this is a scam that will steal your tokens.
Careful, there is no airdrop!
